Services
Benefit-Focused
01
General & Portable X-ray (Radiography)
A basic imaging technique that uses a controlled beam of radiation to create detailed images of bones, soft tissues, and organs (Chest - Upper and Lower extremities - Head and neck - Spine - Abdomen and Pelvis).
02
Computed Tomography (CT Scan)
Creates detailed cross-sectional images of the body using X-rays taken from multiple angles. CT scans provide more comprehensive details compared to traditional X-rays. Examples of CT examinations are:
-
CT Chest (Plain studies HRCT).
-
ECG gated CT Cardiac (CT Coronary and TAVI).
-
CT Angiogram (Aorta, carotid & abdominal vessels).
-
CT scan of head (brain and sinus).
-
CT scan of Abdomen and Pelvis.
03
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Utilizes strong magnetic fields and radio waves to produce detailed images of organs, soft tissues, bones, and the nervous system. MRIs do not use radiation. Examples of MRI examinations are:
-
MRI Cardiac Non-Congenital cases (including stress studies).
-
MRI Cardiac congenital cases.
-
MRI Angiogram (head and neck and peripheral system).
-
MRI Chest (mainly mediastinal masses).
-
MRI Musculoskeletal (spine, shoulder, hip and knee joints).
-
MRI Neurology (brain including angiogram study and pituitary gland).
04
Ultrasound
useful for examining soft tissues, such as organs, muscles, and blood vessels.
-
Vascular Doppler Examination such as:
Doppler study of lower / upper limbs.
Doppler study of Abdominal vessels mainly renal arteries.
Doppler study of major neck vessels.
Ultrasound Chest for Pleural effusions detection.
-
Non-vascular Ultrasound examination of thyroid, abdomen, and pelvis.
05
Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy is a study of moving body structures--similar to an X-ray "movie." A continuous X-ray beam is passed through the body part being examined. The beam is transmitted to a TV-like monitor so that the body part and its motion can be seen in detail. Examples of Fluoroscopy are:
-
Barium swallow and barium meal.
-
Barium follow-through.
-
Assessment of diaphragm movement.
06
Thoracic Intervention Radiology (IR)
Multiple dedicated thoracic intervention procedures are done for examples:
-
CT guided lung, mediastinal, pleural and chest wall biopsies.
-
CT or Ultrasound guided Pigtail catheter insertion for pleural drainage.
